Puzzle #12: We came to create!
In this puzzle we celebrate the biggest and best creative applications of the 1980s and 1990s. For example, STOS made game development on the Atari ST easy for everyone. This programming language, based on BASIC, came bundled with sprites, music creation tools and example games to help users get started. STOS was used to create hundreds of games, apps and demos for the ST including the ‘Technomix’ sample recording and playback demo shown. You can find Technomix and hundreds of old-school demos at demozoo.org, and even see it in video form below the puzzle!
