Envato / Videohive freebies for March
We looked in detail at the massive Envato network in January, and again they’re giving away a small, diverse collection of assets this month. Our favourites are ‘Clean lower thirds‘ – Perfect for video editing month, and ‘FreeBird‘ photography portfolio website template. You’ll need to create a free account to make them yours!
Unity Asset Store
Running ’til the end of the month, Unity has launched a big BUNDLE of game-creation assets in their UKRAINE MEGA BUNDLE, stating ‘100% of proceeds from the Mega Bundle featuring assets donated by publishers around the world will be donated to charities supporting the people of Ukraine.’
The lower tier includes 4 assets for around 18 euros, while the mid tier adds an additional 4 assets for a total of around 27 Euros, and the full bundle will cost you around 36 Euros…

OpenBrush app for VR
If you’ve dabbled with VR apps in recent years, you’ll be aware of Google’s TILTBRUSH 3d painting app. It’s no longer in development by Google, but they kindly made the source code available to the development community. You can now download the first ‘proper’ release of OpenBrush for FREE for use on your Quest device. See the trailer below…
