Festive Puzzle #3: Pinball!
Before flippers were added, pinball was a game of luck – Launch the ball then cross your fingers! Adding flippers turned it into a game of skill where players could control the ball and aim for targets. This innovation helped shake off pinball’s gambling reputation in the USA, which had seen it banned in several American cities.
