runway.ml updates

Runway’s biggest update of this year was the public release of their ‘Gen3 Alpha’ text-to-video model in June:

Of course, Runway is not without competition in the 2024 AI video space. In October we used LTX Studio to generate a sequence of short video clips to use as source material for a film trailer in motion graphics month. Rather than providing a traditional editing timeline, LTX studio presents a sequence of clips which can be modified by updating the related prompt…

Here’s the final trailer, with the clips edited together in Vegas Pro. All the clips, AI voiceover and soundtrack were generated in LTX Studio:
