Start your elearning journey here!

Online learning continues to be BIG business in 2026, offering the benefits of anytime, anywhere learning to anyone with access to a modern mobile device and web connection.

Storyline is one of the most popular tools for creating online learning content. A free trial with some minor limitations is available. Storyline is used to create slide-based content including interactive slides and quizzes. Storyline content can be exported (as a SCORM / xAPI package) to use with many modern LMS and online learning platforms including Udemy, Skillshare, Learndash, Moodle and even plain WordPress. Note: To quickly create short online learning modules, you may prefer to use Rise 360 instead!

We’ll introduce Storyline from scratch in our video explainer series and create a simple module of content including text, images, animation, embedded video and audio. We’ll also make significant use of the built-in AI assistant to help generate and refine text and create quiz questions and audio effects!
